Advancing the Gospel to the ends of the earth through the local church.

We see the primary purpose of missions as bringing God glory through the building up and the increase of both the breadth ("of all nations") and depth ("make disciples... teaching them") of His Church - the body of believers throughout the world. Our heart's desire is to send out missionaries to establish or to assist in establishing churches among the least-reached people of the world.

There are several ways that we are seeking to fulfill this global vision. The first is in partnership with four other Northern Virginia Churches (Immanuel Bible, Cherrydale Baptist, Chantilly Bible, and Reston Bible) who are similarly committed to the evangelical faith. Our goal is to send out a missionary or a missionary couple from one of our five churches each year, a goal that has been met every year since the inception of the Consortium in the mid-90's. These missionaries are supported by the Consortium up to 80% of their required support levels, which makes them a true extension of us as their roots are here, we know them well, and they spend their furloughs being ministered to by and serving alongside us.

Another way we are seeking to fulfill our global vision is through short-term mission trips. Our goal is to have such a trip each summer. In the past few years, we have sent teams overseas to serve alongside the missionaries we support with the aide of our congregation. In addition to overseas trips, we plan to take stateside trips where we can help with physical needs of people while sharing Christ's amazing love with them.

A third way we are seeking to fulfill our vision is directly connected to one of our Value Statements: "We value growing the next generation of believers." We don't believe that the church is "ours." We believe it is Christ's, and that we are to invest in, build up, and prepare the next generation of spiritual leaders who will not only assume the shepherding responsibilities of Grace Bible but who will also be among those going out as missionaries from Northern Virginia to the ends of the earth.
