During this election season, a great deal of the conversation is centered on which of the candidates is less disliked. This can be a bit disheartening, as our president holds a significant amount of power and influence both in our country and in the world. How are we as followers of Christ to think about these things?
We address questions such as, “What does the Bible say about the purpose of government?” “What should our attitude be toward government leaders?” “How should we respond if the government commands us to do something that is contrary to God’s Word?” “Should we vote?” “What should inform for whom we vote?” “What might be some implications of not voting?”
In this seminar, we explore what the Bible has to say about our relationship to government as followers of Christ. We will purpose to explore both a theological and a practical understanding of how to think about this most important topic.

We live in an era of a new “sexual revolution”; and like it or not, as Bible-believing Christians, we cannot stick our heads in the sand and simply hope this will pass us by, leaving us unaffected. The fact is, one way or another, we are all, already, being affected by this revolution.
In this seminar, we explore what the Bible has to say about gender, sex, attraction, and identity. We will purpose to explore both a theological and a practical understanding of how to think about this most important topic in our day and age.

"Evangelism (E-VAN-GEL-IZM) is teaching [heralding, proclaiming, preaching] the Gospel [the message from God that leads us to salvation] with the aim [hope, desire, goal] to persuade [convince, convert]"
The work of evangelism is far easier to define than it is to do. This Personal Spiritual Growth seminar was a training in how to think Biblically about personal evangelism, the chance to consider Gospel Partnership, and for some practical training for how to engage people with the Gospel.
