We preach expositionally. We expound and teach the Bible as God gave it to us, mainly preaching through entire books in the Bible, over the course of a series.
Covid Policy Update - Please Read Before Attending
Given the end to Virginia’s universal mask mandate on May 28th, we are not requiring anyone to wear a mask at GBC, nor are we discouraging anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask. This policy is in effect for all GBC activities, including our worship services and GraceKids programs.
As of Sunday, May 30, the worship services no longer require registration. You may sit where you choose. The rows of seats on the side by the drums are generously spaced apart for those who may prefer more socially-distanced seating.
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, if you are awaiting test results for COVID-19, or if you think you may have COVID-19 based on current symptoms, please do not attend. We encourage you to take advantage of the online service option. According to the CDC, people with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
~ Fever or Chills
~ Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
~ Muscle or body aches
~ New loss of taste or smell
~ Sore throat
~ Congestion or runny nose
~ Nausea or vomiting
Our mission is DISCIPLES MAKING DISCIPLES - Loving God and People Through The Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a thriving and diverse community, joined together by common purposes: expositional preaching, passionate worship of God, the pursuit of Christ-likeness together, and a desire to advance the gospel locally and to the ends of the earth!
The gospel is central to everything we believe and do as a community. And everything we know about the gospel is found in the Bible: God's written word given to us. So, we expound and teach the Bible as God gave it to us - generally preaching through entire books of the bible through a series of sermons. We also pray purposely and sing theologically rich songs. We respond to God's word through participating in the Lord's Supper (typically the 2nd Sunday of each month), giving our offerings, and other forms of worship born out of the truths of Scripture.
