Connecting women to the grace of God and one another, for the purpose of disciples making disciples.
Our Women's Ministry comes alongside our Home Groups to provide specific teaching, training, and encouragement to fulfill the unique role God has given women in His kingdom. Biblical womanhood often runs contrary to what the world teaches us, so we seek, by God's grace, to build women into what the Bible teaches they were created to become.
Our hope is for you to discover that the Bible pictures womanhood in a far more gracious manner than this category has often been portrayed at various times throughout church history. Since God the Father highly values women made in His image, we do too, and we want to help women develop a grace-based understanding of what it means to be a woman. Grace Bible Church's Women's Ministry serves the role of connecting women to the grace of God and one another for the purpose of teaching sound doctrine flowing out of a growing understanding of the Gospel.
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. - Titus 2:3-5
The Women’s Ministry will be offering an 8-week Zoom Bible study on Ephesians, on Monday nights (starting 4/19; 6:30pm-8pm) or Wednesday mornings (starting 4/21; 10am-11:30am). Here is a link to purchase Richard Coekin’s Good Book study guide on Ephesians – Your Place in God’s Plan. This study “lays out God’s eternal plan, shows us how to become a part of it, and explains how we serve that plan in our day-to-day lives, as church and as individuals."
Register below. Zoom links for both studies is provided on the confirmation email.
